About RateMath

RateMath builds free, easy-to-use financial calculators that help people understand interest, savings, and debt. Our goal is simple: give you clear numbers and plain-English explanations so you can make your own informed decisions.

What We Do

  • Free calculators for savings, CDs, APY, interest, and debt payoff. No sign-up and no personal information required.
  • Clear explanations of the formula behind every result, with worked examples.
  • Official sources. We check our formulas and facts against U.S. regulators and agencies such as the CFPB, FDIC, NCUA, Federal Reserve, and IRS.
